Summary

We are searching for a driven and motivated Senior IT Business Analyst with working knowledge of Airline Operations. You will be part of the IT Business Solutions team and will be the key provider of Scoot's solutions design. You will work closely with the Product Owner and Software Developers to deliver Scoot's Software Solutions.

Job Description

You will participate in the design and delivery of IT solutions, addressing airline requirements on modern software platforms.

Business Analyst Responsibilities
  • Support the Product Owner in drafting and refining user stories, including detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Provide documentation support for requirements gathering, gap analysis, training, and product testing.
  • Consult with product owners and SMEs to prioritize and shape the product backlog, using Agile best practices.
  • Participate in and facilitate scrum ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.
  • Create detailed business analyses, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs.
  • Conduct Architecture Review Committee (ARC) reviews for design, cost, and security approval.
  • Deliver work products throughout the project lifecycle and provide updates to the team.
  • Develop project progress reports and identify areas for improvement.
Project Management Responsibilities
  • Assist with operational management of the project team, including meetings, approvals, and project logs.
  • Support IT projects in managing budgets, forecasts, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Manage stakeholder communications.
  • Support preparation of BRDs, functional specifications, user guides, use cases, and scenarios.
  • Participate in project walkthroughs, requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and implementation.
  • Support development and testing activities.
  • Assist in rollout activities, including UAT, user training, and post-go-live support.
  • Promote Agile practices and continuous improvement culture.
Requirements
  • University degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects or tasks.
  • Independent, resourceful, analytical, and problem-solver.
  • Team player with initiative.
  • Good communication skills.
