  • Operate lorry crane to lift, move or reposition loads safely and precisely.
  • Listen and carry out instructions given by ground crew or helpers via radio communication or hand signals.
  • Direct helpers to position outriggers and blocks properly to prevent capsizing during heavy load lifting.
  • Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Assess loads to determine their weight and compare it against lifting capacity to prevent the risk of overload.
  • Interact closely with customers for accurate movement of materials and equipment.
  • Inspect, clean and perform operator level maintenance on crane mechanism and hoisting components in accordance with standards.
  • Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Arrange for periodic maintenance of vehicle/equipment or when vehicle/equipment malfunctions.
  • Follow related safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Provide reports of work operations by completing relevant paperwork.
  • Other ad-hoc assignments assigned by your superior from time to time.
