We are seeking a highly experienced scientist with expertise in structural biology, particularly in protein chemistry and cryo-EM. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving research on mycobacterial enzymes and multi-subunit complexes, contributing both technical expertise and leadership to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct research on the 3D structure determination of mycobacterial enzymes and large protein complexes.
- Set up and perform cryo-EM experiments, including data collection, processing, and structural analysis.
- Provide mentorship to students and junior researchers in the lab.
- Communicate research findings effectively and contribute to collaborative projects.
Job Requirements
- PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Extensive technical experience in protein chemistry, protein engineering, and 3D structure determination of large/multi-subunit enzyme complexes.
- Proven expertise in cryo-EM experiment design, execution, and data interpretation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring students or junior scientists.
