Job Description

The Packaging Designer is responsible for developing creative, functional, and brand-aligned packaging solutions for new and existing products, and OEM clients. This includes concept development, structural and graphic design, mock-ups, and coordination with suppliers to ensure packaging meets both aesthetic and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop product packaging that aligns with brand identity, market trends, and target consumer preferences.

• Create packaging concepts, dielines, artwork, and mock-ups for review and production.

• Collaborate with R&D, and production teams to ensure packaging is feasible, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory and operational requirements.

• Coordinate with external vendors and packaging suppliers on print specifications, material options, and prototyping.

• Ensure packaging designs meet functional requirements including durability, shelf appeal, and sustainability goals.

• Review and approve final proofs and samples prior to mass production.

• Maintain packaging asset library and update existing packaging to reflect brand or product changes

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Packaging Design, or related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage, or consumer products.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CAD or 3D design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of print processes, materials, die-cuts, and packaging formats.

• Detail-oriented with excellent visual, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
