Position: Engineering Manager (Water Treatment)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all engineering activities from initial design and tender phases to final project handover.
  • Lead and guide engineering teams in producing accurate designs, calculations, and project documentation.
  • Manage external engineering vendors and ensure project deliverables meet technical standards.
  • Provide technical support and consultation to senior management for key engineering decisions.
  • Build, train, and manage engineering teams to enhance capability and performance.
  • Lead research and development initiatives to drive new product and process innovations.
  • Review and approve engineering outputs for accuracy and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate effectively with project managers and other departments to align on objectives and schedules.
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices across teams.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges clearly to stakeholders and management.
  • Advocate for engineering team needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Plan and manage engineering budgets, resources, and schedules efficiently.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering talent.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably within the water and wastewater treatment sector.
  • Experience in onshore/offshore oil and gas engineering is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
