About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced part-time Teacher to join the team at Rice Education Central Pte. Ltd in the Novena Central region. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young learners and contributing to the delivery of high-quality primary education.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and deliver engaging, interactive and age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of primary school students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing personalised feedback and support to help them reach their full potential
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to share best practices, develop teaching resources and continuously improve the curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking and a love of learning
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and procedures
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities and other school-related events

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of individual students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • Proficiency in English and the ability to effectively communicate with students and parents
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and a commitment to professional development
