Job Description & Requirements
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients, responsible for the clinical and administrative duties in the Nursing Home. Your responsibilities include providing administrative support, patient care services and performing basic nursing procedures. Undertake other nursing care responsibilities appropriate to their assessed competence.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist Doctor and Registered nurse in procedures
- Assists in any clinical procedures assigned
- Practices within own level of competence to promote safety of self and patients in accordance with SNB code of practice and core competencies
- Demonstrate proper use and care of medical & IT equipment
- Registration of patients and proper use of Patient Management System
- Management of patients' records in accordance with PDPA Act
- All other administrative duties given by the Staff Nurse
- Maintain effective communication with patients and team members to ensure that patient's needs are met.
- People management skills – Supervise and mentor less experienced staff
- Respects the values, customs, spiritual beliefs and practices of individuals and groups
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
- Maintain proper infection control standards
- Adhere to the policies, procedures, standards protocols in the organization.
- Participates in continuous quality improvement activities
- Performs any other additional duties as assigned by Staff Nurse / Nurse Manager

- Proven track record and a continuous improvement mindset
- Good written and spoken English
- Possess good medication knowledge
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with colleagues from cross departments
- Ability to be both a team leader and team player
- Possess interest and aptitude in the applied field
- Pro-active, patient oriented and progressive
- Ability to prioritize and exceed expectations
- Able to work in a stressful environment and has good coping mechanism
- Has empathy and problem-solving attitude
Qualifications:
- Education : Recognised Nursing qualification and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Minimum Certification: NITEC in Nursing
- Experience : Open to newly graduated
