Across all our businesses and countries, each one of our people leaves their mark in shaping society.> We believe that leaving a mark is a true challenge and opportunity for every one of us.> We believe that leaving a mark is a sign of trust and impact.> We believe that leaving a mark is a bond with the future.> We believe that leaving a mark is proof of growth and development.Being part of the BV family, is more than just working, it's being convinced that you will leave your mark... in shaping a world of Trust.ResponsibilitiesWork towards and retain accredited carbon verifier status for self and company – experienced in carbon services, and related fieldsLead / Support carbon verification projects for Singapore, and regionallySupport client relationships, business development & sales enablement of current & new carbon services by providing technical sales support, and proposal developmentKeep abreast of changing carbon landscape, including policies or trends to inform business initiatives and to meet evolving market demandsPlanning and conducting verification activities including assessment of sampling methodology, data and control activities, conducting risk assessment and determining materiality and overall audit confidence levelRepresent company in relevant events, webinars, etc., as subject matter expertsPriority Criteria:Completed verification for Singapore carbon tax (at least 5 projects in past 3 years); ORCompleted reasonable level of assurance for GHG projects (at least 5 projects in past 3 years, e.g. Verra VCS, Gold Standard, GCC, CORSIA); ORboth scenarios adding up to 5 projects in past 3 years.RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in related fields will be preferred with at least 3 - 5 years' experienceAuditor with ISO standard knowledge in carbon preferredKnowledge of industrial GHG related processes and measurement and the potential GHG emission sources in order to understand the ER, and draw accurate and meaningful conclusions from observations, facility documentation and relevant literatureKnowledge of international GHG standards (i.e. IPCC guidelines on treatment of emissions sources, GHG Protocol) and Singapore's M&R regulations and guidanceExperience in identifying misstatements and non-conformities in EREffective communication of the verification process, requests and findings to the clientThe ability to assess the scope of verification activities required in order to reach a reasonable level of assurance and assign sufficient resources to the verification teamThe ability to assess the skills of verification team members in order to assign appropriate verification activities and functions to team members, and contract appropriate technical experts where necessaryThe ability to oversee and manage the verification process and reporting, having sufficient knowledge to assess the quality and completeness of verification activities performedThe knowledge to assess compliance with verification regulations and guidelines, including activities performed by the verification team members including technical experts (if applicable)Candidates who have performed verification of Scope 1 GHG emissions on at least three (3) completed verifications at a reasonable level of assurance over the past four (4) years will be preferredJoin an inclusive, flexible and diverse company where you can thrive while contributing to positively transforming the world we live in.#ShapingaWorldofTrust #leaveyourmark
