About the role
As a Sales Assistant at our Viral candy store in the Central Region, you will be the face of our business, providing exceptional customer service and helping to create a delightful shopping experience for our customers. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing retail organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting customers with a warm and friendly attitude and providing excellent customer service
- Assisting customers in finding the perfect confectionery items to suit their tastes and preferences
- Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing store environment
- Restocking shelves and ensuring product availability
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Contributing to team efforts and supporting your colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably in the confectionery or food and beverage industry
- A friendly, outgoing and helpful personality with a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A keen interest in confectionery products and a willingness to learn about our extensive range
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
