Our client is a leading global company specialised in the detailed engineering, fabrication and construction of offshore FPSO (Floating Production Storage Offloading) and FSO (Floating Storage Offloading) topside modules. Due to fast expansion, they are actively seeking for Piping Coordinator.
**Responsibilities**:
- Study the project requirement, specification to familiarise with the project scope and requirement
- Support lead engineer on the work procedure submission
- Manage material delivery and issuance to the fabrication and/or installation team/subcontractors
- Coordinate with various departments and teams for additional materials required in case of clashes, changes, modification or to expedite works
- Highlight piping engineering issues to client team and liaise with client engineering team for resolution
- Monitor client's Site Instructions (SI) and follow up accordingly
- Assist section manager in improving production control and various standard operating procedures, including but not limited to, quality, safety, and the training and development of employees
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Min 3 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision works or equivalent
