Freelance Movie Making Instructor

Job Summary

Are you passionate about film, digital animation, and education? We are looking for creative and dedicated Freelance Movie Making & Digital Animation Instructors to join our team This role is perfect for graduates, students, or anyone interested in earning extra income while teaching children aged 3-15 the art of movie making and digital animation using apps. Previous experience in film, animation, or media production is a plus, but not required – training will be provided We are looking for candidates who can commit to a minimum term of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging movie making and digital animation classes : Follow and deliver lesson plans on movie making, including storytelling, scriptwriting, filming techniques, editing, sound design, and digital animation using popular animation apps to students in regular classes, workshops, and camps.
• Ensure smooth class operations : Create an organized, professional, and inspiring environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning in both movie making and digital animation.
• Monitor student progress : Provide constructive feedback, encourage students' skills in movie making and animation, and help them explore their creativity in storytelling, film production, and animation.
• Address parent queries : Respond to feedback and questions from parents in a timely, professional manner.
• Collaboration : Work closely with fellow instructors and staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive learning experience for all students.
• Promote the organization : Contribute to the promotion and development of the company's activities in alignment with our vision and mission.

Key Requirements

• Interest in movie making and digital animation : A passion for film production and digital animation, and teaching children the basics of movie making, animation apps, and digital media.
• Teaching experience : Previous experience in teaching children is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication : Ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Responsibility and professionalism : Punctuality, proper class preparation, and a professional approach to teaching.
• Organized and creative : Ability to manage class materials, film and animation equipment, and create an engaging, fun learning environment.
• Commitment : Must be willing to commit to a minimum term of 6 months.

Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred but not required)

• Experience in movie making, film production, digital animation, or related fields.
• Previous experience working with children (ages 3-15).
• A strong interest in learning and teaching new digital animation techniques and film production skills.
• Familiarity with popular digital animation apps (e.g., Toontastic, Stop Motion Studio, FlipaClip, etc.) is a plus.

Training

Comprehensive training will be provided for candidates without prior experience in movie making or digital animation, ensuring you are equipped to teach and inspire students confidently.
