About the Role

Our client, a global fintech company, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join their Singapore team as a Quantitative Risk Strategy Analyst .

This role focuse on designing and implementing data-driven credit and risk strategies. You will play a key role in balancing business growth with robust risk management, working closely with cross-functional teams across business, product, technology, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and enhance risk strategies across the customer lifecycle – from origination to ongoing monitoring – aligned with business goals and risk appetite.
  • Utilize alternative data sources to uncover new risk factors and create analytical indicators to strengthen risk assessment.
  • Build and optimize risk models, scoring frameworks, and monitoring systems to effectively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable strategies that balance growth and risk control.
  • Provide thought leadership in innovative risk management approaches to support sustainable and compliant business expansion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Statistics, Data Science, or other quantitative/financial disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in credit risk strategy, modelling, or analytics , preferably within fintech or banking .
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python , with proven experience working with complex datasets.
  • Knowledge of Trade Finance and/or E-commerce Financing is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Passion for learning and developing innovative approaches to risk management.
