Our client is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their team

What you'll be doing?

• Circuit Design: Design and simulate sophisticated electronics circuitry including microcontrollers, SoCs, DDR memory systems, and communication interfaces.
• Schematic Creation: Develop detailed circuit drafts and perform schematic capture using popular EDA tools.
• Prototype Development: Conduct comprehensive prototype testing, system integration, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Documentation: Generate comprehensive technical documentation to support development and manufacturing processes.
• System Integration: Lead system-level integration activities ensuring seamless interaction between components.
• Design Verification: Conduct thorough design verification and validation processes to meet performance specifications.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated product development success.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and enhance hardware performance, power consumption, and signal integrity.
• Manufacturing Support: Provide technical guidance during production phases and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Technology Evaluation: Research emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities and maintain competitiveness.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing methodologies to ensure high-reliability hardware solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance design processes and development methodologies.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, or related fields) for a solid foundation in hardware design principles.
• Professional Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in hardware design, development, and testing with a proven track record.
• Circuit Expertise: Strong proficiency in both analog and digital circuit design with comprehensive understanding of electronic systems.
• PCB Knowledge: Experience with high-speed PCB design and signal integrity analysis is highly advantageous.
• EDA Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with popular Electronic Design Automation tools for schematic capture and simulation.
• System-level Thinking: Understanding of complete system architecture and ability to design integrative hardware components.
• Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities for optimizing system performance.
• Documentation Abilities: Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear, comprehensive design specifications.
• Professional Attributes: Self-motivated and proactive approach with ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Communication Skills: Strong abilities for effective collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
