InsPIRE is seeking a Project Officer with a passion for designing immersive and interactive digital experiences. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing visually compelling and pedagogically driven content using AR/VR, 360° video, 3D simulations, and immersive experiences— in both STEM and non-STEM disciplines. You will collaborate with NTU faculty and cross-functional teams to prototype and build interactive experiences that align with learning outcomes, exploring new possibilities at the intersection of creative media, technology, and education. The role also involves contributing to research in immersive learning, exploring the use of AI-driven tools, and supporting the broader adoption of creative EdTech solutions across the university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually compelling and interactive immersive experiences (AR, VR, 360° video) to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Design and develop graphic assets, 3D models, and UI/UX elements that bring immersive educational content to life.
  • Prototype and iterate on immersive applications that creatively align with educational goals and learning outcomes.
  • Conduct research on immersive learning trends, pedagogy, and best practices to continually push the boundaries of interactive education.
  • Develop innovative workflows for integrating emerging educational technologies in pedagogy.
  • Collaborate closely with faculty and multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate immersive technology into courses or develop new modules.
  • Provide support in communications, publications and administration related to academic matters, including working with other departments and schools in NTU.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interactive Design, Game Design, Digital Arts, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both creative visual design and technical development skills.
  • Deep understanding of pedagogy, learning science, and student engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency with AR/VR development tools, 360° video production, immersive simulations, or interactive media such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya).
  • Skilled in video production and editing to create immersive multimedia content.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple creative and technical tasks.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to innovate in the immersive learning space.
