About the Role:

We are engaged by an enrichment centre, to employ Maths Teacher for children between 3 to 12 years old. The candidate would inspire students' learning and interest in

(1) their mental arithmetic for the younger students between 3 to 6 and

(2) MOE maths curiculum for the Primary school students within a caring and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Maths enrichment and revision lessons for a class size of max 12 students
  • Familiarise with lesson materials, including pre-class preparation. Materials are provided.
  • Grade students' homework and monitor progress.
  • Provide feedback and communicate with parents after class
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Education, or a related field.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching abacus, mental arithmetic or MOE maths preferred
  • Responsible, motivated, patient, approachable, and enjoys working with children.
  • Willing to work weekends
  • Preschool teachers welcome

Details:

  • Location: Marine Parade
  • Working Hours: 42 hours per week (Tues to Fri 3.30pm–9pm; weekends 8.30am to 5.30pm)
  • Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
