IT Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

1.     Assists the Head of Department in:

• Formulating and implementing the corporate IT strategy of the Club.
• Planning the annual IT budget for the Club.
• Develops and reviews contingency plan for disaster recovery, to protect the Club against loss of information due to virus, human or natural disaster.

2.     Sets up, supports and ensures the smooth operation of the Club's management information system, server, network and POS system.

3.     Performs daily / routine IT administration and backup of Club's Management information system.

4.     Provides end-user with support in all aspects of computer related matters such as PC hardware and software troubleshooting, Club management information system troubleshooting.

5.     Maintains a file for IMS Job Request Form submitted by users.

6.     Liaises with all system vendors and with regards to system installation, maintenance, modification and troubleshooting.

7.     Documents all modifications, updates / upgrades, changes by system vendor to Club's Integrated Management System.

8.     Prepares IMS report for FSC.

• Club's IMS system – Issues/Updates.
• Computer / Software Assets Requisition.

9.     Coordinates and processes all computer related purchases:

• Review of all purchase requisition.
• Providing end-users with recommendations.
• Obtaining the necessary quotations from suppliers.

10.  Maintains a record of all computer assets and software used in the Club.

11.  Conducts periodic checks on all computers to ensure software license compliance and virus protection.

12.  Documents and updates the IMS standard operating procedures file.

13.  Able to extract data, analyse, explain and make proposals in relation to the data.  Present the detailed data and summarise into written report for decision making.

14.  Participate in Workplace Safety & Health risk assessments to ensure the safety of workplace.

15.  Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
