Job Summary

In this role, you will assist in the management, tracking, and maintenance of property assets and construction projects for our handyman services. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside our team to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of property assets, as well as play a role in ongoing construction and renovation tasks. This internship is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in construction management, facility maintenance, or asset management.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management: Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring proper tracking and asset utilization.

Facility Maintenance: Support the planning and execution of routine maintenance, repairs, and facility inspections to ensure all properties are taken care of for repairs and maintenance.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with the team to monitor and document the progress of construction and renovation projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and safety protocols are adhered to.

Data Collection & Reporting: Collect and organize data related to equipment usage, facility conditions, and project progress, and prepare detailed reports for management.

Vendor Management: Assist in liaising with suppliers and contractors to source materials, schedule repairs, and ensure timely delivery of services.

Customer Management: Assist in liaising with customers on customer enquiries and scheduling of maintenance and repair works

Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to industry safety standards and regulations, assisting in routine inspections to maintain compliance.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for asset and project management, including record-keeping, documentation, and filing.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic understanding of construction and facility maintenance practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 4 - 6 months

Pay: $ $800.00 per month

Work Location: In person
