to join them as

Legal Counsel (Ref: KHXXX)

This position is for an experienced legal executive with commercial and technical

knowledge and experience who will provide contractual and commercial guidance to the

organization's stakeholders eg procurement, finance, operations, sales and donation

teams

The Job

 Work with stakeholders to draft clear and concise legal documents, not limited to the

following:

a) contracts, contract changes / variations, Sales and Purchase Agreements;

b) memorandum of understanding;

c) procurement documents;

d) correspondences and legal letters;

e) employment contracts; and

f) confidentiality agreements

 Provide legal support on any disputes and liaise with external legal counsels for follow

through on legal matters when required.

 Prepare, lead and guide company employees on contract issues, compliance and

policy matters (including anti-bribery, anti-competition and personal data protection

regulations).

 Maintain records and files (online and hard copy filing systems) in a systematic

manner for easy access and retrieval.

 Support and drive any other assignments / initiatives / projects related to compliance

or legal matters as and when required by the Company.

 Review contracts (includes highlighting issues and analyzing risks), and support

corporate governance and administration.

The Candidate

 LLB or Diploma in Law or Legal Studies with more than 10 years' working experience

preferably in vendor contracts relating to goods and services, warehouse and

logistics, and moving forward, leasing of labs, training services contract management

and legal dispute resolution.

 Excellent legal and commercial awareness, interpersonal and communication skills.

 A high level of comprehension in understanding and interpretation of contractual

language coupled with an ability to formulate arguments that support the contractual

interpretation sought by the company.

 A detailed knowledge and understanding of contract law, and the impact on

contractual relationships
