Our client is one of the leader in the banking space, they are hiring a Project manager to join them on a 12 month contract

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the delivery lifecycle for the Generative AI program within Data Platform
  • Define and track project plans deliverables , budget , dependencies , risks, and issues across multiple workstream.
  • Manage the stake holders and external vendors within Generative AI space
  • Drive delivery governance , regular status updates in PSC , raise blockers and issues to senior management.
  • Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation plans.
  • Have a thinking mindset to challenge the status-quo , suggest improvements in delivery and processes.

Required Experience

  • At least 10-15 years of experience preferably in the bank.
  • 5 years of experience of delivery with large scale enterprise level program.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience of enterprise change management processes.
  • Strong experience of handling senior stake holders , business, and technology partners .
  • Knowledge on Data Platform / Generative AI space is nice to have.
  • Positive attitude towards learning and on the job training for any new technology.
  • Ability to understand the architecture of the system.
  • Demonstrated experience of leveraging data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing, and advising on technology risks.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong executive communication(for MD / EXCO-level reporting).
  • Ability to navigate across all the teams within business
  • Adaptability – Staying calm and adjusting plans in response to shifting priorities
  • Problem solving and Critical thinking

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in ,Data/ Computer Science, or related field.
  • Showcase the growth mindset and be open for learning new technologies
