Job Description and Responsibilities:- Work with different suppliers to monitor status of supplies, assess supply vendors and ensure delivered supplies meet quality standards.
- Contact vendors, verify supplies, manage supply requisition and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform superiors and clients of potential delays.
- Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Communicate with suppliers and clients for updates on delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment arrangements via sea and air.
- Perform other related duties or ad-hoc jobs assigned by superior.
- Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience in expediting role.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively both verbal and written in English with all levels.
- Possess critical thinking, analytical skills and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player and able to work independently when needed.
- Possess a positive attitude, meticulous, attention to detail, organized and excellent time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Words and Excel.
- Good knowledge on ERP system would be an added advantage.
- Familiar with upstream and downstream industry preferred.
- Knowledge on pipes, fittings & flanges and material grades is an advantage.
