We are seeking a skilled and proactive Dietetic Technician (1 Year Contract) to join the Allied Health team. You will assist in the provision of dietetics services and nutritional program, under the supervision of dietitians. Your responsibilities are as follows:
- Assist dietitian in the provision of medical nutrition therapy to patients, including gathering patient information for nutritional screening/ assessment and communicating accurate basic food and nutrition information.
- Provide direct support to dietitians in nutrition project/ programs including data collection, data analysis, and researching food/ nutrition related information.
- Conduct recipe analysis, modification and trial.
- Develop and prepare nutrition educational materials for patients and public that are culturally and age appropriate and designed for the literacy of the audience.
- Active participation in nutrition related community activities to promote healthy eating habits and illness prevent.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics is preferred
