Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Inspections: Perform inspections of mobile cranes and crawler cranes to assure structural integrity, operational functionality, and compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
  • Document Findings: Prepare inspection reports outlining findings, deficiencies, maintenance requirements, and recommendations. Ensure all documentation is accurate, thorough, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and be updated to relevant safety regulations, standards, and codes applicable to mobile and crawler crane operations and maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with crane operators, maintenance teams, and project in-charge to address inspection findings promptly. Also, to coordinate maintenance and repair activities for crawler and mobile cranes, provide regular status updates, offer guidance on corrective actions, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving crane inspection protocols, procedures, and equipment to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
Requirement:
  • Minimum ITE / Higher Nitec / Diploma qualification in engineering.
  • Experience in a QA/QC work environment will be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to address inspection findings;
  • Mandarin literacy is an added advantage given the regular review of Chinese technical manuals and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and ensuring quality excellence in crane operations.
