Job Title: Financial Accountant (Family Office)

About Us

We are a privately held family office managing diverse investments and business interests. Our operations require the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and accuracy. We are seeking a dedicatedFinancial Accountantto oversee the full spectrum of accounting, compliance, and reporting functions. This role is central to ensuring the smooth financial operations of the office while upholding confidentiality and integrity at all times.

Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting

  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records for the family office and related entities.
  • ManageAccounts Payable: process supplier bills, handle payments, and resolve queries.
  • ManageAccounts Receivable: issue invoices, monitor collections, and address payment matters.
  • Record and reconcile related party transactions, shareholder loans, and intercompany dealings.
  • OverseePayroll Management:
  • Maintain confidential employee records.
  • Process wages, CPF contributions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with legislation and company policies.
  • Track leave records and handle payroll queries.
  • Performreconciliationsof balance sheet accounts and profit & loss statements.
  • Handlemonth-end closing, adjustments, and preparation of financial statements.

Management Accounting

  • Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and projections when required.
  • Provide timely management reports and analysis to support decision-making.

Tax & Compliance

  • Prepare and file income tax, GST (when applicable), and payroll-related taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with MAS reporting and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support annual statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Risk & Process Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard family office assets.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements for greater efficiency.

Ad-Hoc Projects

  • Assist in special projects and financial reviews as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in accounting, preferably in a family office, private wealth management, or investment environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Singapore's regulatory framework (MOM, CPF, IRAS, MAS).
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
