Adecco is partnering our client, a well-known US Tech MNC (specializing in social media services).

The Opportunity
  • Adecco is partnering with a leading global technology company to hire a UX Researcher for a 9 months contractual assignment.
  • This role will focus on driving user experience research across products impacting millions of users in the APAC region.
  • The position is flexible with onsite work preferred 2-3 days per week and may require occasional travel within APAC for research projects.
  • We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about user-centered design and product development, with strong qualitative research expertise and experience collaborating closely with product teams.
  • The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to contribute to innovation and strategic decision-making.
The Talent
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of applied UX or product research experience, particularly with qualitative research methods such as interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present research findings and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple research projects independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for understanding human behavior and translating insights into actionable product improvements.

Preferred:

  • Master's or PhD in relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of UX research experience including both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Familiarity with APAC regional markets and digital product ecosystems.
  • Experience working with external research vendors.
Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists to identify key research questions with an APAC focus.
  • Design and execute end-to-end UX research studies using diverse methods like interviews, usability testing, surveys, and concept testing.
  • Synthesize and communicate research insights that influence product strategy and design decisions.
  • Advocate for the needs and perspectives of businesses, advertisers, and consumers within APAC.
  • Manage multiple research projects balancing short-term priorities and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with research vendors as needed to augment research capacity.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the UX research team.
