Manufacturing Technician 2

- Perform assembly builds and conduct tests as scheduled and according to required specifications, schematic drawings and work instructions.
- Work with engineers in conducting experiments.
- Report manufacturing problems and assist Manufacturing Engineers in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol.
- Must be able to work in a team.
- Have a Quality and Productivity mindset.
- Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
- Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills, etc.), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor.
- Responsible for performing a risk assessment of work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions.
- Comply with EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in audits and inspections as required.
- Attend EH&S training programs and take personal responsibility for safety.
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement programs within the company to reduce waste, reduce cost, reduce errors, and improve productivity.
- NITEC or Higher NITEC in Engineering at a minimum, with 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Able to read and understand schematic/mechanical drawings.
