How You Succeed

You'll succeed by becoming a subject matter expert on our firewall infrastructure. Proactively monitor, maintain, and improve security controls. Collaborate with other security teams to refine policies and respond to threats. Focus on automation to streamline operations and maintain a consistent security posture. Success depends on staying ahead of evolving threats and ensuring our firewalls remain effective.

What You Do

• Manage and maintain OCBC's firewall infrastructure (Palo Alto Networks preferred).

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot firewall rules, policies, and VPNs.

• Monitor firewall logs and respond to security alerts.

• Perform regular firewall health checks and vulnerability assessments.

• Implement and maintain firewall change requests following established procedures.

• Automate firewall tasks and processes to improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with other teams (Network, Security Operations) on security initiatives.

• Develop and maintain firewall documentation.

Who You Are

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Have 5-7 years of experience in firewall management and security engineering.

• Demonstrate strong experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (certification preferred).

• Be proficient in networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching).

• Understand security protocols (SSL/TLS, VPN, IPSec).

• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Show a proactive and adaptable mindset.
