About the role
My Study Lab, a leading tuition centre in the North-East Region, is seeking experienced and passionate English, Maths, Science or Chinese Tutors to join our team. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in helping our students reach their full academic potential. This is a full-time position based in our centres located in Yishun or Hougang.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of all ages and abilities
- Developing customised learning plans and teaching materials to cater to individual student needs
- Providing regular feedback and progress updates to students and their parents
- Collaborating with the teaching team to share best practices and implement new teaching methodologies
- Participating in professional development workshops to continuously enhance your teaching skills
What we're looking for
- Degree in the subject you wish to teach (e.g. English, Maths, Science or Chinese)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in a tutoring centre or school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and parents
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities to juggle multiple students and schedules
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically
