What You'll Build

As a Backend Engineer (Golang / Python, Billing & B2B), you'll play a key role in building scalable systems that support usage-based billing, real-time metering, and enterprise pricing workflows. You'll work with a modern cloud-native stack that supports our rapidly growing SaaS platform.

You will:

  • Design and build high-throughput microservices in Go or Python for usage metering, rating, and invoicing
  • Develop robust REST/gRPC APIs backed by SQL databases (MySQL/Postgres) and Redis/Memcached caches
  • Operate and monitor cloud-native services using Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools like Prometheus and OpenTelemetry
  • Collaborate with product, DevOps, and finance teams to deliver reliable, auditable billing infrastructure
What You Bring
  • 3–5 years of production experience in Golang or Python backend development
  • Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, SQL schema design, and caching strategies
  • Hands-on experience in B2B/enterprise environments, such as contract renewals, usage tiers, or seat-based pricing models

  • Bonus points for:

  • Experience with billing or payment systems

  • Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Exposure to CRM systems and workflow automation
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin (to collaborate with the Guance integration team)
