About the role

We are seeking a talented Facade Drafter/Designer to join our dedicated team at Hong Xing Engineering Pte. Ltd. in the Woodlands North Region. As a Facade Drafter/Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of innovative facade solutions for our wide range of construction projects. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, utilising your expertise in drafting and designing to contribute to the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

• Producing detailed facade / alum doors & windows drawings and design specifications using CAD software
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand design requirements and translate them into technical drawings
• Researching and evaluating new facade materials, systems, and technologies to identify the most suitable solutions for project needs
• Generating models and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to clients
• Ensuring all facade designs meet relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Providing technical support and advice to construction teams during the implementation phase
• Preparing of abrucation dwg / cutting list for procurement department
• Liaise with QS / factory and site for all the time when necessary..
• Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in facade design and construction

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facade drafting and design, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and 3D modelling tools
• Strong understanding of facade systems, materials, and construction methods
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve design challenges
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
