Our client specializes in electronic procurement and assembly, as well as the import, wholesale, and retail of Japanese F&B and branded products. With a growing retail presence, they have our own team of delivery drivers supporting our business and providing delivery services. Backed by our parent company in Japan and global partners in Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, and China, we ensure quality products and reliable service.

As a Retail Supervisor/Team Lead, you will oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain smooth business operations.

【 Responsibilities 】

- Manage stock control, merchandise display, and replenishment with good forecasting.

- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing the POS system.

- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Retail Promoters.

- Prepare and update duty rosters to ensure smooth operations.

- Conduct team briefings before each shift.

- Set an example in customer service, product knowledge, selling skills, and cashiering.

- Improve inventory management procedures.

- Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.

- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

- Attend meetings and handle other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

【Working Hours:】

Work a flexible schedule of 44 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

- Operation Timing: (Sun-Thu) 9:45am - 9:15pm / (Fri-Sat) 10:45am -10:15pm

- Full Time: 6 days work week (To be scheduled).

【 What you will receive 】

- AWS: 1 month (For confirmed staff only)

【 Requirement & Preferences 】

(Must)

- Proficient in English and good communication skills

- 2 years of proven experience in F&B and has experience leading the team

- Professional, pleasant, and customer-focused attitude.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays

- Comfortable with handling non-halal food

- Ability to join within short notice or 1 month

(Advantageous)

- Experience working in a Supervisory role within F&B and Retail operations

- Possessing a Hygiene certificate will be a plus

- Familiarity with Japanese company or food
