About Us FattyDaddyFattyMummy is a premium home meal subscription (Tingkat) and catering service in Singapore, dedicated to delivering wholesome, home-cooked meals to families across the island. We pride ourselves on quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and a commitment to nourishing our community.
The Role We're looking for a skilled 2nd Cook to support our kitchen operations in preparing high-quality Tingkat meals and catering orders. You'll work closely with the Head Chef to execute daily menus, maintain kitchen standards, and ensure timely meal production for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes and specifications
- Assist Head Chef in daily meal preparation for Tingkat subscriptions and catering orders
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols (SFA standards)
- Assist with inventory checks, stock rotation, and ingredient preparation
- Support kitchen team during peak production hours
- Report any quality or operational issues to Head Chef
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years cooking experience in commercial kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment
- Proficiency in Asian home-style cooking and local dishes
- Basic food safety knowledge (WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or public holidays as needed
