Job Scope

Creative & Design

  • Design and create high-quality floral arrangements for daily orders and various occasions including weddings, events, and for corporate clients
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs, suggest design ideas on suitable flower combinations
  • Contribute to the creation of new floral recipes and designs, showcasing creativity and expertise in floral artistry
  • Handle mid to small-scale wedding setups, creating mood boards for proposals and providing simple sketches to visualize designs
  • Stay updated on floral trends and seasonal designs
  • Assist with merchandising and visual displays in-store and for events

Operations & Workflow

  • Manage daily floral operations including inventory control, flower conditioning, order production, and shop presentation
  • Take responsibility for assigning orders to all Florists, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
  • Manage order tracking, scheduling, and timely delivery of floral arrangements
  • Source flowers and materials, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the workstatio

Team Leadership & Customer Service

  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior florists and assistants
  • Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Regularly report to management on work progress, challenges, and achievements within assigned tasks

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Share images of ready products, fun facts, captivating floral images, and beautiful flowers to support marketing efforts

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional florist, or with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory florist role
  • Strong knowledge of flowers, and floral design techniques

Proven experience with event floral design
