We're looking for an exceptional IBDP HL Mathematics (AA/AI) Tutor to coach learners (Years 12–13 / JC equivalent) for concept mastery, method fluency and exam excellence. You'll deliver targeted 1:1 and micro-group sessions after school, evenings, weekends, and during holiday intensives at our Bedok Reservoir centre and/or online.

What you'll do

  • Diagnose gaps, plan precision teaching, and track progress toward HL grade targets.
  • Teach core HL strands (Functions, Calculus, Algebra, Trig, Vectors, Probability & Statistics; for AA/AI as relevant).
  • Coach exam strategies (mark-scheme language, command terms, calculator skills, timed practice).
  • Guide strong IAs (question focus, modelling, statistics, structure, clarity).
  • Communicate clearly with families; document goals and milestones.

What you bring

  • IB score 7 in Math HL (AA/AI) or Math/Engineering/CS degree (honours preferred).
  • Proven tutoring/teaching success at HL (references or results).
    Command of pedagogy: modelling guided practice- independent practice; retrieval & spacing; low-stakes checks for understanding.
  • Crisp board/camera work, clean worked solutions, and exam-style explanations.
  • Professionalism, punctuality, and a calm, student-first manner.

Nice to have

  • Experience with A-Level H2/JC, AP Calculus/Stats, or MOE Upper Sec/IP.
  • Experience supporting neurodiverse learners and EAL students.
  • Comfort with Desmos/GeoGebra, Python for modelling, LaTeX.
