Solution Architect (Full Time)

Job Description:


• Deliver end-to-end Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Management solutions to customer.


• Work with the larger team in technical design sessions to define data definition, data and analytics solution requirements and specifications.


• Analyze business requirements, designing, developing, testing & supporting application and data solutions from build to production (including proof-of-concept).


• Ability to develop test plans and lead testing cycles.


• Provide product and application support and maintenance when needed.


• Actively participates in defining solution options and selecting the appropriate BI, analytics and data management solution.


• Development of data pipelines, data management and Business Intelligence/Analytics platforms.


• Ensures appropriate documentation, customer involvement and sign-off.


• Develop development framework and assign development effort to team members.


• Actively leads and manages team members to a successful project.

Requirements:


• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field or IT equivalent.

  • 3-8 years' experience in Data Management & Business Intelligence/Analytics tools or equivalent.
  • Data integration and orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory/AWS Glue/ BusinessObjects Data Services, Talend, Informatica PowerCenter.


• Preferably worked on creating data models using dimensional modeling techniques.


• Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL in Cloud Data Warehouse (e.g. Snowflake/AWS Redshift), Vertica/Oracle/MS SQL Server.


• Relational database concepts and SQL knowledge.


• Have an analytical mindset, be independent and a self-starter.


• Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative to engage colleagues.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with colleagues and customers.

  • Likes technology, takes initiative to learn more and shares knowledge with juniors and the team.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, be innovative and develop creative solutions for challenging client needs.


• Knowledgeable with Cloud Native data related services and products on either of the 3 major Hyperscalers.
