Data Engineer (6-Month Contract)

Location: Buona Vista, Singapore

6-Month Contract 

Salary: Up to S$8,700 per month

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer (Contract) to join our client's digital transformation journey. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing modern data pipelines, cloud-based data solutions, and analytics capabilities that support business decision-making. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to collect, aggregate, and reconcile data from multiple sources, ensuring seamless access and actionable insights through cutting-edge data platforms and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical data solutions.
  • Design and build data pipelines, data streams, and integrations leveraging AWS Data & Analytics services.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse architectures (relational and non-relational) to support advanced analytics.
  • Support data migration, transformation, and reporting across multiple data sources.
  • Implement monitoring, validation, and optimization processes for data workflows.
  • Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on skills in PySpark, Python, and SQL.
  • Proven experience with AWS Data & Analytics services (e.g., Redshift, Glue, Kinesis, S3, Lambda).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage data pipelines and transformations.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
