About The Role

We're seeking a challenge-driven Product Management Intern (Associate Product Manager) to enhance user experience across our client-facing and internal products. The APM will work closely with other Product Managers to craft and implement top-tier digital experiences for our internal products and investor platform.

To address the fragmented, barrier-laden nature of private markets, we're creating an ecosystem that effortlessly connects investors, issuers, and partners, guiding each group through their journeys with minimal friction. Our internal platform is crucial in streamlining workflows and processes while linking our core products.

As an APM at Alta, you'll jumpstart your product management career from day one. You'll have a driven, entrepreneurial team backing you as you shape our products' direction. Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

• Gather and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external clients, including Alta Group (Alta AI, Alta MY, AltaX).

• Collaborate closely with other product managers, designers and engineers across the organization to translate requirements into user stories and define acceptance criteria.

• Assist in ideation and research activities for product and feature requirements.
• Conduct product acceptance testing and other quality assurance processes.
• Manage smaller product initiatives from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with overall product goals and timelines in collaboration with senior product managers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and QA, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality product features.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress and gathering feedback to refine features.
• Continuously improve product management skills through mentorship, training, and hands-on experience.

About you

• Passionate about product management, with a proactive approach and a willingness to take ownership of projects
• Basic understanding of software development processes and technologies; experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and product analytics platforms is a plus.
• Strong interest in user experience design and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems creatively and effectively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a strong team-oriented mindset.

Some nice-to-haves

• A general understanding of venture financing and investments, especially in the private capital market and/or alternative assets space.
• Ability to work with basic financial terms and data to optimize product feature
• Working experience in both startups and/or corporate environments (we're a bit of both)
