Full-time Educator passionate about Chess

Singapore THINKING CUP LEARNING ASIA PTE. LTD. Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

We're seeking enthusiastic educators to teach our programs at our United Square club and in schools. You'll work with small groups of children aged 3-12, using our award-winning chess curriculum.

  • Deliver quality chess lessons in private homes/ clubs/ schools or chess holiday camps;
  • Take responsibility for the conversion, progress and retention of students in your assigned trial/ term classes/camps;
  • Contribute to curriculum development as necessary;
  • Provide timely and effective input (in-person parent engagement, written trial/ term/ camp feedback);
  • Support the organisation, inventory and logistics for holiday camps during non-teaching hours

Requirements:

  • Passion for early childhood education and storytelling
  • Experience with chess
  • Experience in social work, education, or a related field
  • Fun, animated, and great with children
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Thorough background check required
  • Willingness to work both weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Working hours: pm Thursday to Monday
