Insurance Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Captive Insurance team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a key member of our Captive Insurance team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing the day-to-day activities of their captive insurance companies. You will prepare accurate and timely financial statements, manage complex full-cycle accounting for international clients, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Your role will also involve coaching junior colleagues, leading client meetings, and participating in global projects to enhance best practices.

We will count on you to:

• Manage a portfolio of captive insurance clients and their day-to-day activities.
• Prepare financial statements and supplemental financial information accurately and timely.
• Reconcile cash and investment accounts, prepare bank deposits and cash disbursements.
• Plan and complete annual audits, including regulatory filings and GAAP financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory processes for local accounting and financial reporting.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, troubleshoot issues, and correspond with other service providers.
• Coach, mentor, and review work of junior colleagues.
• Organize and lead board and committee meeting materials and participate in client meetings.

What you need to have:

• Solid understanding of insurance, insurance policies, and insurance accounting.
• Knowledgeable in GAAP and ability to guide clients on new principles.
• Experience managing complex clients in full-cycle accounting.
• Familiarity with international clients' unique rules and regulations.
