Role Overview Our client’s Microsoft Business Solutions team is looking for a talented D365 F&O Technical Architect who will use their expertise and experience for the technical realisation of tasks based on functional designs in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in particular building and testing new and existing functionalities. Job Location: Silema, Malta Work Type: Hybrid Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: GMT +1 Salary: Base + Benefits (Paid in Euros €) Relocation: VISA & Relocation Package Include Requirements A University graduate with a relevant degree within a computing or business discipline.A Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Core Certification and a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Certification would be considered as an asset.Minimum 6+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.Experience with all stages of Dynamics 365 FO DevelopmentA good understanding of best practices including code management (i.e. source control), unit testing methodologies and build processesStrong knowledge on X++Good knowledge of Life Cycle Services (LCS)Experience in using Azure DevOps such as source control, gated check-ins and pipelines.Understand Devops principlesKnowledge of Automatic Testing Language (ATL) would be considered as an assetData migration (Data entities) experience in-line with D365FO data handling processesExperience with interfaces (SOAP, REST, custom services) would be considered as an assetTeam player, able to foster positive working relationships across the organisationResilience and ability to work in rapidly changing environmentHigh sense of ownership and competence to work independentlyWilling to travel abroad when required Responsibilities Work alongside the Solution and Senior Technical Architects to help create high quality design and sustainable client solutions and project documentation;Implementation of technical solutions for customer requirements in D365FOAnalyse and resolve issues within the ERP systemParticipate in development, integrations, product support, and platform updatesWrite and manage technical documentsEnsuring all design/technical documentation is kept up to date during the development processWorking in an Agile approach depending on the business requirementsWorking with both on-shore and off/near-shore development teamsDeliver all development work as per Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) standards, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully per the project plan: on time and on budget;Be an active member of technical and design working groups within the practiceAdhere to best practice and our clients technical standards during all developmentKeep team and project Manager updated with progressPerform code reviews.Help and mentor developers.Assisting in Technical Interviews.Identify any risks and issues early and raise through the appropriate governance channelsTo carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the Practice management team.Represent MBS in a professional and positive manner at all times.The Employee is required to follow our clients Information Security Policies (ISP and ISMP) at all times.
