We're seeking a highly skilled System and Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge underwater systems for our client. As a technical leader in systems engineering and GNC expert, you'll drive innovation and precision in subsea environments.Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Oversee system design, integration, and lifecycle management, ensuring seamless execution from concept to deployment and sustainment.Trial Management: Develop and coordinate system-level trials, including experimentation, verification, and validation, to guarantee system performance and compliance.GNC Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and validate advanced GNC algorithms for underwater platforms, prioritizing accuracy and reliability.Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering cohesive system development aligned with project and business objectives.System Analysis and Troubleshooting: Conduct analytical assessments to identify root causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions.Risk Management: Balance performance, cost, and risk by identifying technical risks and developing mitigation strategies.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to standards, regulations, and contractual requirements, maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation. Requirements:Technical Expertise: Degree in Control Engineering or related field, with proven experience in complex system design, integration, and validation.GNC Proficiency: Deep knowledge of control theory, state estimation, and sensor fusion techniques.Modeling and Simulation: Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and working knowledge of C/C++.Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage trade-offs between performance, cost, and risk.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail in technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.Since this project requires government security clearance only talents eligible for CAT 1 clearance will be considered.
