Assistant Baker

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Baker to join our bakery team In this role, you'll support the Head Baker in preparing high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in daily operations. Whether you're measuring ingredients, preparing dough, or packaging treats, your work will directly contribute to creating delicious, fresh products for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with daily baking operations, including mixing, shaping, and baking bread, pastries, cakes, and other goods.
- Measure and prepare ingredients following bakery recipes and safety standards.
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure products are baked to perfection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
- Help with inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Support packaging, labeling, and presentation of baked products.
- Assist with special orders or seasonal baking projects as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, or holidays depending on shift needs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Passion for baking and a positive, team-oriented attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,100.00 per month
