- **Assisted Merchandise Classification Management**: Under the guidance of category managers, participate in the combing and optimization of the merchandise classification system. Analyze the sales data, market trends, and consumer feedback of different merchandise categories, providing data support and suggestions for merchandise structure adjustment to ensure that the merchandise structure meets market demands and remains competitive. For example, through the analysis of sales data of the beauty category, if it is found that a certain type of affordable makeup products has shown rapid sales growth, it is recommended to increase the shelf space and purchase quantity of this type of products.
- **Market and Consumer Insight**: Collect industry dynamics, market trends, competitor information, and consumer demand data, then sort out and analyze them. Regularly produce market analysis reports, providing valuable references for merchandise procurement plan formulation, new product introduction, and promotional activity planning. For instance, when it is noticed that stationery made of environmentally friendly materials has become a market trend recently, promptly feedback this information to the procurement team to facilitate the introduction of related products.
- **Supplier Communication and Coordination**: Assist category managers in daily communication with suppliers, promptly conveying merchandise information, including new product promotion, price adjustments, and inventory status. Follow up on the execution of supplier orders to ensure that goods are delivered on time, in the right quality, and in the right quantity. In case of problems such as delayed delivery from suppliers, coordinate to solve them in a timely manner and report to superiors.
- **Sales Data Tracking and Strategy Adjustment**: Track the daily sales data of the responsible merchandise categories, analyze sales trends and the causes of sales fluctuations. Based on the data analysis results, assist in formulating inventory adjustment plans and promotional strategy optimization plans to improve inventory turnover rate and merchandise sales. For example, if inventory backlogs are found in a certain toy category, it is recommended to carry out time - limited discount promotions to clear the inventory.
- **Execution of Category Marketing Activities**: Participate in the planning and execution of category marketing plans, including preparations before the event, coordination during the event, and effect evaluation after the event. Be responsible for event material preparation, merchandise display adjustment, and promotional assistance to enhance the effectiveness and influence of category marketing activities. During holiday promotions, be in charge of arranging the display area of promotional products to attract customer attention.
- **Daily Reporting and Data Analysis**: Assist category managers in the production and analysis of various sales reports and inventory reports, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data. Through data mining, identify potential problems and business opportunities, providing data - based evidence for management decision - making. For example, in the analysis of inventory reports, if certain products reach the inventory warning level, promptly remind for restocking.
**Qualifications**
- **Education and Major**: Undergraduate or postgraduate students currently enrolled. There is no limitation on majors, but students majoring in marketing, business administration, statistics, e - commerce, and other related majors will be given priority.
- **Internship Availability**: Be able to guarantee at least 4 days of internship per week and complete an internship of 6 months or more. Those who can start the internship as soon as possible will be preferred.
