**Job Overview**:
**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Initial Student Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of students requiring occupational therapy services.
- Support Plan Creation: Design individualized support plans tailored to each student's developmental needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for all assessments, plans, and interventions.
- Teacher Consultation: Consult with classroom teachers to ensure successful implementation of strategies and adaptations.
- Parent Meetings: Attend and contribute to parent meetings, providing clear information and recommendations regarding their child’s needs.
- Professional Development: Provide professional development workshops for classroom teachers on topics related to occupational therapy and inclusive education.
- Collaboration: Participate in a professional learning community with other support service providers to create an integrated approach to student support.

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Stay current with evidence-based practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
- Engage in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills.
- Advocate for and promote inclusive education practices within the school community.
- Assist with school-wide initiatives to promote students' health and well-being.

**Personal Requirements**:

- Must be registered with the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore and hold a Practicing Certificate (PC).
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification to practice as an occupational therapist.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy.
- Strong understanding of the educational environment and inclusive education practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
