**Job Description**:
NBCUniversal is looking for a GL Accountant that will be primarily responsible for timely and accurate accounting for a local shared services entity. This role will also be responsible for liaising with external parties including auditors and tax. The role will provide support to external AP provider on invoice and payment processing issues as well as providing oversight of intercompany ageing reports. As part of this role, you will be supporting the Senior Accountant across the several APAC entities. Operating across the two regions of Asia and Australia/New Zealand, you will be expected to work closely with business teams in Singapore and Sydney.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for General Ledger Accounting and financial closing for 1 entity and support Senior Accountant for 3 other entities
- Budget creation, tracking and reporting
- Perform Monthly, Quarterly analysis and reconciliations of relevant balance sheet accounts
- Liaise and report to international internal partners
- Liaise and support external partners (Auditors Tax, vendors, P2P Contractors) for Audit, tax and accounts payable
- Help streamline/improve internal finance processes
- Management of a reporting finance intern
- Other ad hoc duties

**Qualifications**:
**Basic Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years working experience with a multinational company
- Proficient in MS Office suite, knowledge in SAP and technology
- Pro-Active & solution focused
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
