**Role Overview**
- As a software engineer on the media tools and automation team, you will build tools and systems that automate the live and VOD streaming workflow and the validation of media.

**What You Will Do**
- Automate the live and VOD streaming workflow and implement a media validation framework.
- Work cross-functionally with content management, transcoding, content delivery, and player teams.
- Provide developers and live streaming operators with test automation and observation tools, such as test UI, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Participate in software design reviews and influence developers to build testable software.

**Basic Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in software development for a VOD or live streaming domain.
- Experience in developing automation tools and test frameworks.
- Experience in developing cloud infrastructure using AWS.
- Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with media playback development on the iOS, Android, or Web platforms.
- Understanding of AWS media technology, such as AWS Media Elemental or IVS.
- Understanding of Media Codecs and DRM such as AVC, HEVC, AV1, Widevine, and FairPlay.
