We are a traditional Nyonya Kueh shop specializing in authentic Peranakan delicacies. Our team is passionate about preserving the rich heritage and flavors of Nyonya Kueh, and we are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our growing family.
**As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will assist in the preparation and production of Nyonya Kueh and other traditional delicacies, ensuring that the recipes are followed to perfection and that the food is prepared and presented with care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing ingredients for Nyonya Kueh and other traditional Peranakan dishes.
- Help with the steaming, boiling, and frying of various kueh varieties.
- Follow recipes and kitchen processes to maintain consistency and quality.
- Ensure that kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly.
- Assist in packaging and storing finished products for sale.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Help with inventory and restocking of kitchen supplies as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
- A passion for traditional food and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks as required.
