**What the role is**

The Department aims to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, in Singapore and change high-risk behaviours via the implementation and monitoring of evidence-based preventive initiatives and programmes that will increase the awareness of, and change attitudes and behaviours towards infectious diseases, among the general population and at-risk target groups.
**What you will be working on**
- You will play an active role in conceptualising, planning, coordinating and evaluating public education and awareness programmes to change attitudes and behaviours towards infectious diseases, among the general population and at-risk target groups. You will be involved in the following: - Implementing and monitoring preventive initiatives and programmes among vulnerable population such as youths and at-risk target groups;
- Educating, motivating and raising awareness to get at-risk target groups to refrain from high-risk behaviours. You will be involved in fostering partnerships with government and non-government organisations as well as the private sector, to plan and coordinate programmes for specific target populations and at-risk target groups.
**What we are looking for**
- Possesses a University degree with qualifications in / experience working in Public Health, Health Promotion / Communications, Public Policy or other related fields of study;
- Possesses at least 3 years of working experience managing projects related to conceptualising and planning programmes, preferably with experience working with workplaces and/or uniformed groups;
- Possesses at least 3 years of working experience in monitoring and evaluating programmes or services;
- Be able to develop and manage projects and campaigns at a national level;
- Be experienced in communications and possessed good presentation skills;
- Possesses strong analytical & organizational skills;
- Be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels; and - Be able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
