Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance of the Building and all M&E works e.g. Air-conditioning, Lifts, Electromagnetic locking system, lighting works, Fire Protection system, and Sanitary & Plumbing works.
- Carry out maintenance of equipment
- Carry out regular preventive maintenance (PM) for M&E systems
- Carry out troubleshooting and corrective maintenance (CM).
- Carry out the installation of fixtures or replacement works as required by Facility Management.
- Conduct regular inspection and ensure building, fixtures, and furnishing defects are rectified in a timely manner.
- Ensure access, lifts, electrical, water, and air conditioning equipment and systems are operational at optimal levels.
- Supervise installation/renovation/replacement works on facilities and equipment which are carried out by vendors/contractors and ensures all works are carried out appropriately.
- Setup of audio-visual equipment for meetings and events.
- Discuss issues and solutions with other members of the team.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspection, testing, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and service activities.
- Assist the Supervisor in the collection of data related to facility maintenance as and when required.
- Liaise with other stakeholders on maintenance matters.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives are met.
- Support and guide new technicians in the job role of a maintenance technician.
- Stock-taking and tracking of equipment and supplies relating to job function
- Escalate complex problems and issues to the Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
