**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and review welding procedures, processes, and documentation in order to determine that applicable welding code and design requirements are satisfied
- Inspection of Structural and Piping welding in fabrication and erection of Refinery piping & Power piping components involving materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, GRP etc
- Ensures construction quality documentation and records are developed and maintained
- Confirm the piping system concurs with flow diagrams to verify the completeness of the system. Evaluation of test package contents, line checking against drawing requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy of the piping system
- Acts as the focal point for construction quality issues and aggressively drives resolution within the construction team and with the design team and the owner
- Monitoring of welding activities of sub-contractors piping and welding work
- Performs quality control activities for assigned program(s) and project(s) to ensure that products or services provided meet customer and contract requirements
- Ensures quality inspections/surveillances for commissioning activities are performed and documented

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or related field
- Certified welding inspector in AWS-CWI/CSWIP-3.1
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry
- Knowledge in quality systems & NDT
- Minimum 2 years experience in performing QA/QC functions as described above
