About Trust & Safety
Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
A part of Trust and Safety Product, Integrity & Authenticity (I&A) is a global team bringing together expertise of product managers and program managers into one group. The mission of Integrity & Authenticity is to defend TikTok and TikTok users from issues of misinformation, disinformation and deceptive behavior. This role will have the opportunity to identify and mitigate some of the most challenging, complex risks and inform detection, analysis and mitigation strategy affecting millions of users.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
What will I be doing?
- Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team of intrepid investigators and technical analysts through providing guidance to the team in a manner that allows for sustainable career growth, contentment, and achievement on a large scale
- Enhance the resilience of our team by taking proactive measures to advance our operational strategy in addition to collaborating with cross-functional partners to resolve any immediate challenges we face on a daily basis.
- Establish, nurture, and sustain relationships with internal partners to recognize and promote resolutions for enhancing the team's effectiveness
- Ensure prioritization, resourcing, and timely delivery of requirements within a changing business environment

Have extensive knowledge and expertise in technical and procedural matters related to the services offered by your team
- Knowledge of global events (e.g., political, economic, and cultural drivers of global conflicts) and how social media impacts contentious global issues
- Focus on rigorously prioritizing, streamlining, and expanding all elements of our ability to detect and respond to complex deceptive behaviors

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional experience in analytical roles focussing on risk detection, complex investigations, and incident response
- Experience with tactics, techniques and procedures and industry frameworks on analysing complex deceptive behaviors
- Experience using data to proactively and iteratively investigate potential risks and finding suspicious behavior in networks
- Experience leading and managing complex cross-functional programs
- Experience developing and delivering information to senior leadership audiences
- Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
- Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with utilizing Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) in investigations
- Broad knowledge across the Trust & Safety domain, as well as deep focus in one (or more) areas such as product governance, enforcement operations, process development
- Any second language proficiency other than English with high use in the (APAC) market will be considered a plus
